about lauren
Hi, I’m Lauren — and I’ve got you.
I’m a child development specialist, parent coach, and mom of two. But before all of that, I was a parent just like you — wanting to do right by my kids but struggling to find real answers.
My Why
My kids are my inspiration. Watching them grow, change, and discover who they are has pushed me to grow right alongside them. Every day, I strive to be the best mom I can be — attuned to their needs today, not just following outdated rules from yesterday.
I’ve also been reparenting myself, breaking generational patterns that didn’t fit the kind of family dynamic I wanted to create. I knew there had to be more than surface-level parenting advice that didn’t “work” on my children, so I went out to find it.
The Turning point
That search led me back to school. I earned my Master’s in Child & Adolescent Development because I wanted always — real, research-backed knowledge about how kids’ brains, minds, and relationships grow. What I found shocked me: so much of this science was locked away in academic and research journals, far out of reach for the parents who need this vital information the most.
I realized if i could translate that knowledge into clear, useable tools, parents could finally feel empowered instead of confused. That’s when The Parenting Collaborative was born.
My work today
Now, I help parents decode what’s really happening beneath their child’s behavior so they can respond with empathy, confidence, and clarity. My approach blends:
Personal experience as a mom of two - living the daily highs and lows.
Formal training - Master’s in Child & Adolescent Development
Relentless research - digging into developmental, psychological, cognitive, emotional, and social science.
The result? Parents learn how to:
See their child clearly
Strengthen family connection
Enjoy parenting again
why “I’ve got you”
I’ve created the Parenting Collaborative because I want every parent to feel less alone alone and more equipped. You don’t need to memorize scripts or chase hacks. You need someone in your corner who can help you understand you child and guide you toward strategies that actually work in real life.
That’s what I do.
Let’s work together
Parenting doesn’t have to feel overwhelming (although I understand the numerous reasons why I do). Whether through one-on-one support or practical toolkits, you’ll find collaboration and a partner here.
